Chalk
art is an amazing tool to share the Gospel in our Modern media-driven
world. It is said that people tend to remember approximately 80%
of what they see, but only 20% to 30% of what they hear. 
A chalk
artist is able to use this to his advantage by drawing a picture
that people will both better understand and remember for a lifetime.
Jesus taught very effectively by using verbal pictures through the parables he told. As Jesus told a story he would use daily life and familiar settings to teach a new lesson. That lesson quite often came at the end of the story. We see the story unfold before our eyes, but we do not always perceive the significance of it. The parable's truth remains hidden until our eyes are opened and we see clearly, then the lesson of the parable becomes meaningful.
Jeff's desire is not just to draw a pretty picture based on a Bible passage or scripture, but also to share God's Word with people of all ages in a different way than they may not otherwise have heard.
